Let's Clean Up and Blog!

    Cleaning only requires you to do minimal work but it results to a massive impact to the environment.In addition, cleaning is a harmless chore where everyone has the capability to do.This can also be a hobby to some, as well as it can be a way of de-stressing to others. Cleaning can be beneficial for a person as much as it is beneficial for the environment.

In cleaning, your weight, height, age don't matter. It doesn't matter whether you are smart nor skillful. In this picture I took a while back, an elderly is cleaning to help the barangay.Cleaning may seen as only for the betterment of the environment, cleaning may also serve as an excercise to everyone, even if it only requires you to move minimally. As long as you are making your body work, you are making a progress to your healthy lifestyle.Cleaning requires you to move your wrist as you sweep, walk as you mop, bend as you reach for something in the ground, and many more. 


However, cleaning isn't only about sweeping, it can also be in a form of recycling, reducing, and reusing the wastes. As well as, lessening the usage of vehicles. In this picture, I am cleaning the plastic bottle that are to be reused and recycled. In recycling, one's creativity may be developed. Research, product, and innovation are some examples that can be done through recycling. In my perspective, you can say that you are environmentally conscious with having the thought of partaking in doing reducing, reusing, or recycling with wastes that you encounter in your surroundings. Though, a plan without a movement is never an initiative to help the environment.

There are various ways on how to protect and care for the environment, one of them is engaging to clean-up drives. In clean-up drives, you do the waste segragation, socialize as you clean the surroundings, take up wastes that can be reused, recycled or repaired. In this picture, I took a part in one of the coastal clean-up program that was led by the youth leaders organization. We collected wastes in hopes that we can mitigate the chances of having the water polluted.

122nd High School Day

 The preparation for the 122nd High School day was a struggle, for both teachers and students. There were practice sessions for the field demonstration that required students to participate, props that are needed to be made, and class hours that were compressed in order to have enough time to practice. Although, it was all worth it when I saw that each one of us were smiling throughout the day. The Field demonstration involved the every students to perform, from grade 7 to 10. Each grade level has their own festival to perform.  In Grade 10, we performed Sinulog Festival. The boys garnered the title “CHAMPION, while the girls got 3rd Place in the field demo competition.  After the field demonstration, the school hosted a concert for a cause in which it involve the bands from the grade 10 special science class, the bands from the senior high school, and teachers.
