Pitching Resilliency

Resilliency is a term to state the ability to withstand vulnerability. This is where we can say that you can adapt to any misfortunes you may encounter in this lifetime. What is resilliency to Filipinos? Are we aware of this word? Do we recognize that being resillient makes Filipinos a 'Filipino'?

When it comes to the term 'vulnerability' this may stand for the cons of being a Filipino or as we call it the downside as someone who is a Filipino. We can all say that Philippines is vulnerable when it comes to natural disasters, its political governance, and its economy. With all these vulnerabilities, it is indeed impossible to overcome it, considering that there are a lot of hindrances.

The goal to a more resilient country starts with a brave and persistent leaders. A governance who knows what they are fighting for and knows who are they standing for will be for sure advantegous for all, as resilliency does not only stands for having a positive mindset rather this also stands for how prepared the country in facing vulnerabilities.

Personally, towards a more resilient Philippines, Filipinos have to think and move as one. We have to think for everyone, we have to consider every aspects. Empathy is one of the key factors in achieving this. In order to think of a direct solution, we have to put ourselves in one's shoe.Unity is also one, it is given that everyone has their own perspective so we can't avoid any conflict, but if we all have one goal, that is enough for us to unite. Whether others have their own movement that they want to pursue. Another is having determination. It is indeed hard even just to accept how awful the situation but as long as we acknowledge that we are not alone, we are going to be just fine.

We can all agree that these vulnerabilities that comes our way may just be a blessing in diguise to all. These bring many Filipinos together and as one. Furthermore, during times of mishaps, like in the times of typhoons for instance, Filipinos make sure that you are not facing this alone. They will try to help as long as they can still stand. As it happens, We, Filipinos, do dwell on the hardships that are bestowed upon us.Hence, we always find a way out of the labyrinth.
