               Growing up, I looked up to my mother, up to this day. I have always viewed her as a heroine. I am a lucky daughter to have her as my mother because I am certain that it is not the same for everyone. My mother is the reason why I think of every mother as someone who is capable in everything, who has undeniable strength and bravery, who have enough love to empathize. These are the few out of all the million reasons why we celebrate Mother’s Day. Mother’s Day is a celebration where we honor our mothers for all of their sacrifices and love that they showered us since the day we were conceived. Filipinos traditionally celebrates Mother’s day by giving their mothers cards, gifts, flowers, or eating   outside. Change, It Starts With Me

Change is not for everyone. Some wants it, while some don’t. When change comes, adjustment will also follow. Change happens whether we like it or not, because the bad news is things will not be the same forever, the good news is things will not be the same forever! Change happens for a reason, every change is for the betterment. This is just on how we perceive change and so when someone, something, somewhere, sometime will change, let us ask ourselves if do we really want this or it to stay forever? If we want to be better at some aspect, we immediately thought of changing something that is within us. However, we can never achieve this if no accountability is present in us. If we continue to tolerate poor behaviour of us or theirs, then it will continue to stay. This is where change starts. The Day of Valor, also known as Araw ng Kagitingan, is a notable event in the history of the Philippines that must be significant for us, Filipinos, to commemorate the Filipino soldiers who gave their lives during World War II. This day is observed on April 9th each year to commemorate the heroism and bravery of the Filipinos who fought against the Japanese forces during the war The Battle of Bataan was a challenging and distressing ordeal for the Filipino and Americ an troops. The Filipinos suffered greatly from the tough conditions, shortages, and constant Japanese attacks. In spite of these obstacles, the Filipinos remained steadfast and battled with unwavering determination. The Battle of Bataan exemplified the strong resolve of the Filipino people against aggression and oppression.  The Day of Valor is a moment to remember the Filipino soldiers' sacrifices in the war.
