               Growing up, I looked up to my mother, up to this day. I have always viewed her as a heroine. I am a lucky daughter to have her as my mother because I am certain that it is not the same for everyone. My mother is the reason why I think of every mother as someone who is capable in everything, who has undeniable strength and bravery, who have enough love to empathize. Mother’s Day is a celebration where we honor our mothers for all of their sacrifices and love that they showered us since the day we were conceived. Change happens whether we like it or not, because the bad news is things will not be the same forever, the good news is things will not be the same forever! This day is observed on April 9th each year to commemorate the heroism and bravery of the Filipinos who fought against the Japanese forces during the war The Battle of Bataan was a challenging and distressing ordeal for the Filipino and Americ an troops. The Filipinos suffered greatly from the tough conditions, shortages, and constant Japanese attacks. In spite of these obstacles, the Filipinos remained steadfast and battled with unwavering determination.
