Only the Young

Image
Let every month be a children's month. After all, it was never their choice to be born.      In the Philippines, many children suffer from domestic abuse, child labor, and other more unjust practices to the youth. National Children's Month aims to raise awareness regarding the social injustices and rights of every child. This offers activities that show appreciation to the youth. It is to meet the needs of every child and to celebrate them.     Children Rights are Human Rights. There are no excuses to ignore these. Every child, whatever their status in life, they are their own rights. These rights stand by them. As to what Dr. Jose Rizal said, "Ang kabataan ang pag-asa ng bayan" this line alone can be surmised that we need our youth. How can the youth be the hope if they lose all their rights? How can the youth be the hope if we let them be the prey to any social injustices?     I hope one day we can all take the youth seriously and can see ...

In very quarter that are yet to come, new experiences and knowledges awaits. Blogging had opened a door for me. It had shaped me into a person I never knew I could be, it had ignited the fire I never knew I had within me.      With this quarter, I managed to express myself adequately. For a girl who is struggling to express herself, this blogging experience had helped me to talk things out. I never knew that I could find words that truly convey my opinions and emotions. I used to think that there are no enough words to verbalize such strong feelings.Apart from that, I was also given a chance to talk about various topics that are contemporary.      Being a student, it is indeed an honor to receive a chance like these. Throughout the quarter, I, as a student and a teenager, I felt heard and seen. I felt relevant and needed. Because nowadays, when you are young, they assume you know nothing. As a student, you will spend most of the ti...

Cleaning only requires you to do minimal work but it results to a massive impact to the environment. In addition, cleaning is a harmless chore where everyone has the capability to do.This can also be a hobby to some, as well as it can be a way of de-stressing to others. Cleaning can be beneficial for a person as much as it is beneficial for the environment. In cleaning, your weight, height, age don't matter. It doesn't matter whether you are smart nor skillful. In this picture I took a while back, an elderly is cleaning to help the barangay.Cleaning may seen as only for the betterment of the environment, cleaning may also serve as an excercise to everyone, even if it only requires you to move minimally. As long as you are making your body work, you are making a progress to your healthy lifestyle.Cleaning requires you to move your wrist as you sweep, walk as you mop, bend as you reach for something in the ground, and many more.  However, cleaning isn't only about ...

Bagong Pilipinas, Bagong Mukha?

Image
Dear Mr. President,      I admire your capability of controlling the minds of gullible filipinos rather than controlling the country leading to its development.Other than that, I also wish to utter my fondness unto your "bagong pilipinas" as a new governance brand.Although, I also want to question whether it is for a whole history revision or merely for the betterment of the country?       To be frank, I have never believed in your words as you had never proved any of it with actions. You see, it is hard for a person to stick with words without actions as words are just words and cannot be personified to be the one who'll take accountability of doing or fixing something. However, there are times where I still yearn for your answers to these questions that had been lingering on my mind: (1) Based on your past interviews where you worded out that as a president of the Philippines, you ought to clean the dirty and blood-stained hands of your dearest...
